Connor Tilly

Educator

For Connor, agriculture and farming are not mere items of interest, rather, they represent the foundations of society and the cultural backbone of this country.

Born in Camarillo and raised in Washington State, Connor is a staunch supporter of environmental conservation, an avid fan of outdoor activities, and an all around advocate of spending time in and better understanding nature. During his youth in Washington, Connor had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions in the PNW agricultural industry. His experiences include assisting in cherry, apple, and pear harvests, and last year Connor worked as a field service technician for a new ag tech company that is rolling out an experimental new postharvest solution to fruit growers and packers.

While a student at Westmont College, Connor studied Spanish and History and worked at a number of different local farms here locally in Santa Barbara County. Looking to the future at SEEAG, Connor is extremely excited to start working with local Santa Barbara and Ventura county students and to continue building more awareness and advocacy around local agriculture.
