Program Overview & FAQ’s

HOW TO REGISTER

Important: You only need to register for your Part 2 Farm Lab Field Trip. Registering for Part 2 automatically secures all three parts of the Farm-to-Food Lab program. You will provide your availability for Parts 1 and 3 in your registration form, and our Program Coordinator will follow up to confirm your dates and times. 

  • Part 1: Introduction to Agriculture β€” approximately 1 hour, at your school

  • Part 2: Farm Lab Field Trip β€” approximately 4.5 hours, Petty Ranch

  • Part 3: Food Lab β€” approximately 1 hour, at your school

  1. Choose your Part 2 Farm Lab Field Trip date
    Use the calendar below to select your preferred field trip date. Each field trip can accommodate a maximum of 75 students. If you have more than 75 students, please register for TWO field trip dates that are as close together as possible.

  2. Complete the registration form
    After selecting your date, you will be directed to a registration form. On the registration form, you will provide your preferred dates and times for Part 1 (Introduction to Agriculture) and Part 3 (Food Lab). Please plan to schedule both parts within three - four weeks of your Part 2 Farm Lab Field Trip.

  3. Receive your complete program schedule
    Once you submit the registration form, your three-part Farm-to-Food Lab program is secured. Our Program Coordinator will contact you within the following week to confirm the dates for Parts 1 and 3 and send calendar invitations for all three program components.

Field Trip Calendar

HOW TO REGISTER

Important: You only need to register for your Part 3 STEM Field Trip. Registering for Part 3 automatically secures all three parts of the STEM Career Pathways in Agriculture program. During registration, you will provide your availability for Parts 1 and 2. Our Program Coordinator will then follow up to confirm the dates and times for those two components.

* All three parts of the STEM Career Pathways in Agriculture program must take place within the same week:

  • Part 1: Career Guidance Workshop β€” approximately 1 hour, in your classroom

  • Part 2: STEM Lab β€” approximately 1 hour, in your classroom

  • Part 3: STEM Field Trip β€” approximately 2 hours, at a partner farm

  1. Choose your STEM Field Trip date
    Review the calendar below and select your preferred date for the Part 3 STEM Field Trip.

  2. Complete the registration form
    After selecting your field trip date, you will be directed to a registration form. Please complete all required questions, including your preferred dates and times for Parts 1 and 2 (must be within the same week of your chosen field trip).

  3. Receive your complete program schedule
    Once you submit the registration form, your three-part STEM program is secured for that week. Our Program Coordinator will contact you within the following week to confirm the dates and times for Parts 1 and 2 and send calendar invitations for all three program components.
