The California Legislative Central Coast Caucus Foundation (CLCCCF) [APPLICATIONS DUE BY APRIL 30, 2026]
The California Legislative Central Coast Caucus Foundation (CLCCCF) serves the five counties of the California Central Coast: Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. The CLCCCF is a 501(C)(3) tax exempt, charitable, non-profit organization that promotes and supports education on issues important to communities across the California Central Coast. Grimmway Farms [APPLICATIONS DUE BY MARCH 21, 2026]
Grimmway’s current program offers graduating seniors of Grimmway employees who are looking to advance in their education a renewable scholarship up to $10,000 while attending a two or four-year college/university or $5,000 for a vocational/trade school. Click here for more information.

American Floral Endowment [APPLICATIONS DUE BY MAY 1, 2026]
The American Floral Endowment (AFE) is the trusted source and catalyst for floriculture advancement through funding innovative research, scholarships, internships, and educational grants that best serve the dynamic needs and demographics of all industry sectors.
The AFE awards scholarships for floriculture and horticulture students, and also provides internship opportunities before graduation. There are more than 20 scholarships awarded annually, and three separate paid internships (with scholarships of up to $6,000) for those interested in commercial production, retail floral operations, and wholesale/distribution channels. California Farmworker Foundation [APPLICATIONS DUE MAY 3, 2026]
The Nueva Generación Scholarship is one of the leading farmworker resources supporting students in Fresno County, Kern County, Kings County, Madera County, and Tulare County—and beyond. Since launch, CFF has awarded over $350,000 to 200+ students, many of whom are first‑generation college students. In 2025, 50 scholarships were awarded to students from farmworker families across California. Click here for more information.

CALCOT Seitz Scholarship [APPLICATIONS DUE BY MARCH 31, 2026]
The Foundation was formally established in 1979 with a $10,000 personal donation, which was matched by Calcot’s Board of Directors, doubling its initial impact. Over the years, the scholarship fund has continued to grow through the generous support of individuals and businesses, including contributions made in honor of Gin Managers and other dedicated supporters.
The Calcot-Seitz Scholarship has been established for promising young students from Arizona, California, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas who plan to attend a college or are attending a college offering at least a FOUR-YEAR DEGREE in Agriculture. Click here for more information.

Ventura County California Women for Agriculture Scholarship Program [APPLICATIONS DUE BY APRIL 4, 2026]
Since 1976, Ventura County California Women for Agriculture has diligently worked to empower, engage, and educate women in agriculture to be at the forefront of our industry. From the field to the boardroom, VC-CWA members are actively creating change in our county as we adapt to a more urban environment, ensuring we can continue tackling the needs of the world’s growing demand for reliable food, fuel and fiber. Eligible students can apply to ONE of the four scholarships below:

Dried Fruit Association of California Scholarship Foundation [APPLICATIONS DUE BY APRIL 1, 2026]
The mission of the DFA of California Scholarship Foundation is to grant undergraduate students financial awards to assist them with the completion of their agricultural business-related degrees and to encourage High School seniors to enter the agriculture profession. California Citrus Mutual [CLOSED]
California Citrus Mutual (CCM) offers a $1,000 scholarship to high school seniors planning to continue their education or pursue a vocation in an agriculture-related field. To be eligible, students must be dependents of a CCM member or a member’s employee. Click here for more information.

Women in California Leadership (WiCL) Foundation [APPLICATIONS DUE ON MAY 31, 2026]
The Women in California Leadership (WiCL) Foundation Minerva Scholarship program was established to assist deserving women and girls by offering financial assistance to meet educational expenses. One hundred and twenty-six $3,000 Minerva Scholarships and one $10,000 Golden Minerva Scholarship will be awarded this year. Click here for more information.

The CA Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation’s Scholarship Program is currently accepting online applications from eligible students for its scholarship. SULLIVAN SUPPLY [SUBMISSIONS DUE MARCH 15 2026]
Each year, Sullivan Supply offers 20 scholarships of $1,000 each to youth displaying a great passion for the livestock show industry and/or livestock production. Applications are due March 15th each year, and students can apply online starting January 1st where they can also download and mail a paper application.
Candidates must be a graduating high school senior or college student 21 years of age or younger; resident of the U.S. or Canada, and not a previous Sullivan scholarship winner. An agriculture major or a career goal in livestock is not a requirement but a continued future involvement in the livestock industry is. Click here for more information.

THE GARDEN CLUB OF AMERICA [CLOSED]
Since 1928 when the Rome Prize Fellowship in Landscape Architecture was established, The Garden Club of America (GCA) has funded more than 1,400 recipients. The Garden Club of America offers 29 merit-based scholarships and fellowships in 12 areas related to conservation, ecology, horticulture, and pollinator research. In 2024, almost half a million dollars was awarded to 100 scholars to support a variety of academic endeavors ranging from summer environmental study and fieldwork to graduate-level research. AMERICAN AGRI-WOMEN [APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN, DEADLINES VARY]
One focus of American Agri-Women Foundation is education both of young people and of AAW members. To this end the Foundation gives academic scholarships and first-time attendee event scholarships. There are multiple scholarships available, and you are encouraged to apply for all those you are eligible for.

CALIFORNIA FARM BUREAU (CAFB) [CLOSED]
The California Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation was organized to give aid to students with a desire to pursue a career in the agricultural industry. Scholarships are awarded annually based upon academic achievement, career goals, extracurricular activities, determination, leadership skills and a commitment to study agriculture.
California Farm Bureau currently utilizes one application for all of the scholarships listed: Rustici Livestock and Rangeland Scholarship, The Curt & Joan Moran Scholarship, The Agricultural Lenders Society of California, California Farm Bureau Scholarships, Frederick J. Heringer Honorary Award, Carolyn S. Richardson Memorial Scholarship, Howard P. Wackman II Perpetual Memorial Award, and John H. Wiechman Memorial Scholarship. Click here for more information.

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES [CLOSED]
The UC 4-H Youth Development Program is committed to promoting higher education. With help from donors, statewide scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors and college-attending students. CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF PEST CONTROL ADVISERS (CAPCA) [APPLICATION DEADLINE MAY 4, 2026]
One Stanley W. Strew scholarship opportunity is available for students interested in careers in the pest management industry. This scholarship is sponsored by the California Association of Pest Control Advisers (CAPCA) and administered by the Stanley W. Strew Educational Fund, Inc.
The CAPCA scholarship will provide $3,000 to a selected college student. The scholarship recipient will be selected by the Stanley W. Strew Board of Trustees. Click here for more information.

VENTURA COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION [CLOSED … CHECK BACK IN FOR APPLICATION DATES]
The Ventura County Agricultural Scholarship Fund is awarded to a graduating senior from any Ventura County high school enrolling full-time in an accredited 4-year college or university as a candidate for an undergraduate degree OR to a currently enrolled Ventura County community college student transferring to an accredited 4-year college or university to attend full-time as a candidate for an undergraduate degree. Applicant must be a dependent child age 24 or younger of a Ventura County agricultural worker, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. CALP Class 50 Scholarship & Mentorship Program [CLOSED … CHECK BACK IN FOR APPLICATION DATES]
The CALP Class 50 Scholarship supports California high school students who plan to pursue an agriculture-related career. In addition to providing financial assistance, the program pairs students with one-on-one mentors to help guide their studies and career path. For the 2025–2026 academic year, two students will each receive a $1,250 scholarship along with personalized mentoring. Click here for more information.

HOUSE FARM WORKERS [SUBMISSIONS DUE ON MAY 6, 2026]
The Ellen Brokaw House Farm Workers! Scholarship is awarded each year to college-bound or current college students whose parents are farm workers in Ventura County. The scholarship is named in honor of Ellen Brokaw, founding chairwoman of House Farm Workers! A prominent member of Ventura County’s agricultural community, involved in production of lemons, avocados and nursery stock, she has been an inspirational leader in the long campaign to improve the lives of farm workers and their families. USDA 1890 National Scholars Program [SUBMISSIONS DUE ON MARCH 8, 2026]
The USDA 1890 National Scholars Program is aimed at bolstering educational and career opportunities for students from rural or underserved communities around the country. The scholarship provides full tuition, fees, books, room and board to students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher pursuing degrees in agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or related academic disciplines. The scholarship may also include work experience at USDA. The program is a crucial part of USDA’s Next Generation efforts. Click here for more information.
