Our Volunteers Rocked the Final 2025 Event at Petty Ranch!

Volunteers at the farm

We Are Excited to Share That Our Volunteers Rocked the Final 2025 Event at Petty Ranch!

Our volunteers and staff joined forces in a mighty effort for our final volunteer event of 2025 on December 18th. We especially enjoyed having Farmer Chris join us after he generously supplied more than enough mulch to complete the job. His dogs provided a delightful sight and welcome breaks for petting amid our exertion.

We're deeply grateful for the hard work put into finally mulching key areas of our Farm Lab at Petty Ranch. This mulch helps suppress weeds and maintains a clean, welcoming look for our walkways as students move between stations.

Our garden beds received a fantastic clean-up and some replanting with winter-hardy vegetables and seasonal flowers, ideally suited to Ventura County's cooler months.

We wish all our volunteers and SEEAG supporters a joyful holiday season and a fruitful 2026. We hope your New Year bountifulness includes continuing to volunteer with us—taking pride in the lasting impact you make. We look forward to many more opportunities to come together and serve our community in the year ahead.
