VENTURA COUNTY FARM DAY IS CHANGING SEASONS

We are taking time to deepen our roots this fall. Ventura County Farm Day will bloom again in Spring 2026!

EXPLORE THE VC TRAIL MAP

The 13th Annual Ventura County Farm Day has been moved from November 8, 2025, to April 11th, 2026.

Moving Ventura County Farm Day to April aligns with our mission to provide hands-on, STEM-based education during the season when local farms are at their most vibrant. In spring, when growth and renewal are all around, farms become a living classroom where you can gather practical knowledge to use in your own garden, kitchen, or classroom.

On April 11th, doors and gates will open countywide for a full day of exploration, learning, and connection. This move means more sunshine, more activities, and more opportunities to celebrate and honor the hands and lands that feed us.

We’re buzzing with excitement for a bigger and better Ventura County Farm Day and hope you can join us in April!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 11th, 2026 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Thank you for your continued support, see you in the spring!

Frequently Asked Questions

FOR SANTA BARBARA & VENTURA COUNTY FARM DAYS

  • The first annual Ventura County Farm Day was held in 2012. In 2019, SEEAG expanded the program to Santa Barbara County. Farm Day is SEEAG’s signature community education and outreach initiative, connecting over 10,000 people each year to our local food system. By opening farm gates to the public, Farm Day fosters meaningful connections between community members and the farmers who grow our food—cultivating appreciation for the hands and lands that nourish us. Like all SEEAG programs, Farm Day is offered completely free of charge, made possible by our generous sponsors and dedicated family of donors.

  • Registration is required to access each location. While same-day registration will be available at all sites with help from our volunteers, we highly recommend pre-registering! You'll receive the latest event updates, plus be automatically entered to win a custom Farm Day print and merch. Winners will be announced the week before Farm Day.

  • Farm Day includes FREE tours and activities at over 15 locations in each county. Visit the Santa Barbara County Farm Day Trail Map or the Ventura County Farm Day Trail Map to see a list of all participating locations, pin locations to your Farm Day itinerary, and export your personalized Trail Map.

  • Guests typically find the most success when aiming to see 3-4 farms during the day. More than that can feel too rushed.

  • Our Trail Map filters allow you to focus on locations that are kid-friendly, grow row crops, raise livestock, are STEM-based, or are an AG support business.

  • Please note: pets are not allowed at any Farm Day locations. Service animals are welcome; however, due to food safety regulations, access to certain areas—such as coolers or processing facilities—may be limited.

  • Farm Day Every Day is a year-round initiative that connects communities to farms. Expanding our one-day annual Farm Day events in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, this new initiative provides year-round community outreach and educational opportunities to deepen the public’s understanding of our local food systems.

Santa Barbara County Farm Day gives you the opportunity to explore over 20 locations from Santa Maria to Carpenteria.
