SEEAG Welcomes Interns in Two Counties!
4 of 7 SEEAG Interns in Ventura County (Left to Right: Matthew Racelis, Brisa Garica, Citlalli Cruz, Monserrat Santoyo)
SEEAG is excited to welcome a new group of interns to support our education programs this season!
As our programs continue to grow, these passionate and motivated individuals will play an important role in helping us connect students to agriculture in meaningful, hands-on ways. This year, we are proud to partner with the Ventura County K16 Education Collaborative and the County of Ventura Workforce Development Board to bring these talented interns onto our team. Through these partnerships, we are able to provide meaningful workforce development opportunities while strengthening the future of agricultural education in our community.
Our interns will assist with a variety of programs, from coordinating logistics and preparing educational materials to supporting field trips and classroom experiences. Whether helping students explore where their food comes from or supporting behind-the-scenes planning, they are an essential part of delivering the high-quality programming our schools and partners rely on.
At SEEAG, internships are more than just resume builders, they are immersive learning experiences. Interns gain firsthand exposure to agricultural education, nonprofit operations, community outreach, and program coordination. They work alongside our team to better understand the challenges and opportunities within food systems education while developing professional skills in communication, organization, and leadership.
With their support, we’re able to expand our reach and create even more impactful experiences for students across the region. From farm visits to interactive lessons, our interns help ensure each program runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression.
We invite you to get to know the individuals who are helping power our programs. Visit the link here to meet our interns!
