SEEAG’s Farm-to-Food Lab Program

SEEAG is opening its doors to motivated individuals through its Program Intern positions; an exciting chance to immerse yourself in hands-on agricultural education and nonprofit work this spring!

About SEEAG

For nearly two decades, SEEAG has been on a mission to educate students and communities about where food comes from and why agriculture matters. Through experiential learning, farm-based field trips, classroom lessons, and STEM-infused programs, SEEAG cultivates agricultural literacy and inspires the next generation of food system leaders.

What the Internship Offers

The Program Intern role is a part-time, hands-on opportunity designed for students, recent graduates, or anyone eager to gain experience in agricultural education and nonprofit operations. Interns will complete 150 hours over 8 or 12 weeks, working both in program support and on meaningful projects that boost skills in communication, coordination, and digital content creation. Overview of Intern Positions:

Farm-to-Food Lab Intern

  • Assist educators with farm visits and classroom activities

  • Organize materials and support program logistics

  • Help create social media content and blog posts tied to SEEAG’s Farm-to-Food Lab program

STEM Career Pathways in Agriculture Intern

  • Support middle and high school STEM program lessons

  • Help with outreach for research competitions and career events

  • Work on digital asset organization and classroom resources

Farm Day Marketing & Communications Intern

  • Aid marketing for SEEAG’s Farm Day events

  • Assist with event planning, visitor surveys, and volunteer coordination

  • Build social content and capture stories from participating farms

What You’ll Gain

Education/Experience Requirements

  • At least 18 years old

  • A high school graduate + current college/grad student

  • Has an interest in agriculture, environmental education, communications, or nonprofit work

  • Has reliable transportation for on-site activities
