Hannah Forbes

AGRICULTURAL AND NUTRITION EDUCATOR

Raised in the heart of Mendocino County, Hannah brings a strong sense of community, service, and agricultural passion to her work. Her early involvement in 4-Hβ€”showing dairy goats, cavies, and rabbitsβ€”sparked a lifelong dedication to agriculture and youth development.

As Miss Mendocino, Hannah used her platform to champion the Special Olympics of Northern California. She served as a coach for the Inland Mendocino chapter and even organized a memorable opportunity for her athletes to play on the court with the Harlem Globetrotters.

A committed student-athlete, Hannah played basketball for two years at Mendocino College before continuing her academic journey at Allan Hancock College. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in Plant and Soil Science with a focus on land management from Chico State University’s College of Agriculture.

Her love of agriculture has taken her far beyond California. Hannah spent time living and working on a farm in the Netherlands, where she gained firsthand experience with European farming systems and practices.
