As part of its new Ventura County Child Wellness Initiative, Students for Eco-Education & Agriculture (SEEAG) is bringing its message of healthy eating, proper nutrition and daily exercise to classrooms throughout Ventura County using its new 30-foot-long cargo van—the “Farm Fresh Mobile Classroom.”
Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG) has expanded its board by adding three new members.
Named to the board are Heidi Whitcomb, CEO of Ventura Rental Party & Events, Melinda Beardsley, president of Beardsley & Son and Bradley Dykes, branch manager of Morgan Stanley in Oxnard.

You can find out Saturday when more than 20 Ventura County farms will open their doors to the public during the sixth annual Ventura County Farm Day.
Ventura County, Calif. (October 10, 2018)–On Saturday, November 3, more than 20 Ventura County farms will open their doors and invite the public to experience a day of agricultural activities and tours during the 6th Annual Ventura County Farm Day.
The nonprofit organization created the Farm Lab at the Petty Ranch, where schoolchildren come to learn firsthand about the importance of local farming, and offers agricultural education in the classroom. More than 20,000 elementary school students in Southern California have participated in the program.
Sponsors are being sought for the 8th Annual Ag Day Golf Tournament, Monday, June 25 at the Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo.
Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG), a nonprofit organization that helps young students understand and appreciate the origins of their food, received a $7,500 grant from Reiter Affiliated Companies (RAC).
